This is me
I’m Joris Voeten, a multidisciplinary creative with a passion for visual storytelling and advertising. Currently, I’m studying Advertising and Beyond at Willem de Kooning Academy, building on a Bachelor of Visual Arts in Photography from the University of Northampton and my earlier studies at Sint Lucas. My background in photography has given me a strong foundation in visual communication, which I apply across all of my creative work.
As a freelancer, I’ve worked with photographers and managed social media accounts for multiple clients, handling everything from strategy and content creation to full account management. My experience allows me to shape compelling stories that resonate with audiences, whether through a quick, engaging TikTok or a well-thought-out commercial.
I’m especially drawn to the use of humor in my work—comedy is something I incorporate in nearly every project because I believe it creates a deeper connection with the audience. Whether it’s a lighthearted viral moment or a witty campaign, humor helps make content memorable.
I thrive on turning creative ideas into results and love working on projects that push boundaries, bring people together, and tell stories in innovative ways. My work is a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and a genuine enthusiasm for crafting content that makes an impact.
